Join Neil Dorfsman at Power Station New England recording studio for a Drum Recording & Mixing Masterclass. Neil will be joined by drummer Doug Yowell (Suzanne Vega) for a deep look into recording and mixing live drums. Neil will walk you through his techniques step by step. Don't miss it.
Neil’s career in audio began at the Power Station, where he became a staff engineer in the the 1970’s. He is best known for his work with Bruce Springsteen, Dire Straits, Bruce Hornsby, Mark Knopfler, Paul McCartney, Bjork and Sting. He won Grammy Awards for Best Producer for Bruce Hornsby’s, Scenes from the Southside, and Sting’s, Nothing Like the Sun. A Grammy Award for Best Engineer for Dire Straits, Brothers in Arms. Twice he won TEC Awards for Engineer of the Year.
